How To Get Help

Our services are free of charge and you don’t need an appointment. When you arrive, a trained volunteer will talk with you to understand your situation and work out the best ways we can help. An interpreter can be organised if needed.   

• There are limits to how often assistance can be provided as we need to share our resources fairly amongst all people who come to us for support, ensuring they remain available for everyone in need. 
• If we can’t help you, we will refer you to other local organisations who can provide the type of support you need. 

Eligibility Criteria

We can offer information and advocacy to anyone who comes to us.  However, to receive food or financial assistance you must:

• Live in the City of Whitehorse, and 
• Be in financial distress.
